Admission Procedures

The prospective family contacts the school and sets up a tour.

Online application shall be completed by parents.

An interview with family and student is required (if K5 grade or older).

Time is scheduled for testing of student if administration determines it is necessary. A fee is charged.

Test results, application, transcripts, recommendations and other data, including a withdrawal form are examined by LWCS administration. The family must be in accord with the Christian educational philosophy of LWCS. The administrative staff will determine placement for all students.

Parents are informed of the decision of administration.

Parents affirm their decision to enroll the student in school by submitting the registration fee. Enrollment is not complete until all required fees are paid and all forms are complete, including current immunization records.

If application requirements are met, acceptance is based on date of the application.

Students continuing in Living Water Christian School may re-enroll beginning in January of each year.

Enrollment is open to the general public in February.

What is the length of the school day?
Classes are held five days a week. The school day begins at 8:15am and ends at 3:30pm.
Do your students wear uniforms?
Living Water Christian School employs school uniforms in their dress code guidelines. In addition to the standard uniforms, occasional “free dress” and “school spirit” days are given throughout the school year. We currently use Lands End as our uniform vendor.
What Grade levels are offered at Living Water Christian School?
Living Waters Christian School offers 6 weeks – 8th grade
Do you provide before-school and after-school care?
Yes, before-school and after-school is available to LWCS families for additional cost.
What are the hours for extended care?
Children ages 12 and under may attend extended care:
Before-School Care: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 7:30am
After-School Care: Monday – Friday, 3:45pm – 6:00pm
Do you provide a hot lunch program?
We do offer hot lunches for an additional fee. Menu’s are given out monthly and parents can designate meals for their child on our PraxiSchool parent portal and also pay for lunches there as well.
How can a parent keep up with their child’s assignments and grades on a regular basis?
LWCS partners with PraxiSchool, an online-based software provider that gives you access to your child’s lesson plans, assignments and grades. Contact the school office to gain access to the parent portal.
What other information can I view on PraxiSchool?
In addition to classroom information, you can also view student accounts, attendance, lunch and much more.
Can I take a tour of your school?
Tours can be scheduled by calling the LWCS office at 281-238-8946. Open houses are scheduled during the school year as well. Check our calendar for more details.
